Very pleased with these CDs
I’ve been meditating for 40 years and bought both Theta Meditation “1.0” and Theta Meditation 2.0 out of curiosity. I was pleasantly surprised. I like them a lot, especially Theta “1.0” which is more dreamy and fanciful—pleasing, entrancing musical sounds strung together with only one or two real melodies or “songs.” Theta 2.0 might be preferred by someone who wants more “songs,” in order to focus on a melody while meditating. Unlike other left-brain/right-brain CDs which I have heard, these are quite good musically i.e. I think even a trained musician would find little fault with the compositions. And the sound quality is fantastic. However the full richness of the sound is better through headphones or separated stereo speakers rather than through a table-top CD player. I find these CDs especially helpful when I’m tired or distracted but still would like to meditate. I can feel when my meditation begins to get in synch with the theta frequencies. And for most of us, it is definitely not a good idea to listen to these while driving.
